with not much money and a whole lot of desire to succeed, founded the company "F.lli TERRANI di Antonio".
In 1927 the company transferred its operations to MORTARA (PV), in the centre of the geographical area in Lombardy known as Lomellina, and in just a brief time was supplying its blends to over 3000 retailers and public establishments
in the surrounding four provinces of PAVIA, NOVARA, VERCELLI and MILAN.
In MORTARA and VIGEVANO, everyone knew him as "El Sciur Luis";
the creator of the "PORT MOKA" brand, with its familiar Mexican figure which
appears to this day on the complete range of TERRANI products
